Vancouver Co-operative Radio (CFRO 102.7 FM) is a completely independent
radio station operated by more than 350 volunteers and financially supported
by its listeners. It is the only English language station of it's kind
remaining in Canada. We offer over 90 different programs targeted to
specific audiences. Approximately two thirds of the schedule is
music-related. The signal is available via FM broadcast and cable radio
transmission to a potential audience of millions - most of the people of
British Columbia and northern Washington state. The first official broadcast
was on April 14, 1975. Towards the end of the 1970s, Sunday afternoon roots
programming was inaugurated. While the show names have changed, and
various hosts have come and gone, the basic concept of the afternoon has
remained.

A note about sending play copies from the USA - Please use the POSTAL
SYSTEM. (Couriered items from outside Canada must go through a customs
broker.)  Mark the package 'sample of merchandise' and value the CDs at no
more than your cost. This will avoid brokerage charges and GST at our end.
