Hello all, I thought I would pass on some gig announcements from some
wonderful new friends i made while at Blue Skies. I understand that they
made just as much of an impression at Folk Alliance as they did a week ago
at Blue Skies. Great songs, great playing and wonderfully charming. They
come from the 'old time' string band tradition but ratchet it up quite a few
notches. They remind me a lot of another great, but lamentably long gone
band, the Horse Flies, that I had the pleasure of hanging out with and
producing in the 80's.
There from Arkansas, so catch 'em if you can. I think Phil left off Owen
Sound from the gig list below. I believe they're playing there too.
