Michael Pickett and Shawn Kellerman were a hit when they opened as an acoustic duo at the Hillebrand Estates
Winery Blues Festival last Saturday. Shawn's guitar was a perfect complement to Michael's resophonic guitar, rack
harmonica, and gutsy vocals. This open air concert was full of fun and great vibes and enjoyed a fabulous turnout.
The pair was the only acoustic act on the bill... to the satisfaction of many who felt that this form was appropriate
to the occasion. Michael was invited to play harp on a tune with The Rockin' Highliners and Kim Doolittle
respectively and immediately drew attention to the power and musical taste of his contribution. And you couldn't
have asked for better weather!
