Thursday mornings (9-11:30) on CKUT (90.3 FM) in Montreal

         Folk Roots/Folk Branches is the only broadly-defined, 
folk-oriented program on Montreal radio.  The CKUT signal extends 
throughout the Montreal area and into parts of northern New York, northern 
Vermont and Eastern Ontario.

         CKUT can also be heard anywhere in the world over the Internet in

         August 23rd will be the 100th anniversary of the birth of Malvina 
Reynolds (she died in 1978).  Malvina was already in her late-40s when she 
began writing songs, but she became one of the most important, and most 
enduring, songwriters of the folk revival.
