Flying Cloud Folk Club, Toronto
September - October 2000 Line-Up

Please find below the schedule for September and October at the Flying
Cloud Folk Club.  As usual, the concerts are on Sunday's (unless
otherwise stated) at the TRANZAC Club, 292 Brunswick Ave, Toronto and
start at 8pm. (doors opening at 7:30pm).  Information on the shows can
be obtained from the Folk Phone - (416) 410 FOLK (aka 3655)

Sept. 10		Friends of Fiddlers' Green		($12/$10)
Season opener - perennial Cloud favourites featuring Grit Laskin, Tam
Kearney, Alistair Brown, Lawrence Stephenson, Ian Robb +

Sept. 17		David Francey				($12/$10)

Sept. 21 (Thur.)	Richard Shindell			($15/$13)
  1/3 of Cry Cry Cry with Dar Williams and Lucy Kaplansky

Sept. 24		Stephen Fearing  Live CD Release 	($15/$13)
The official launch of the CD "So Many Miles" recorded live by Colin
Linden at the Flying Cloud April 2000.

Oct. 1		Oliver Schroer				($12/$10)
Solo violin concert featuring wild tunes & zany stories from his latest
travels in Scandinavia, Turkey and parts unknown from this local violin
virtuoso!

Oct. 8		Archie Fisher				($18/$16)
Return of the seminal figure in Scottish folk.  A legendary
singer-songwriter since the 1960's whose songs have been made famous by
the likes of Stan Rogers.

Oct. 22		Peggy Seeger				($20/$18)
A living legend from one of Folk's most famous families! - A rare
Toronto appeareace.

Oct. 29		Leon Rosselson			($15/$13)
Welcome return to the Cloud of one of England's finest political
writers.
 His songs have been immortalised by the likes of Billy Bragg and Dick
Gaughan.
