HAPPY NEW YEAR! (nearly)

Here we go again with the Acoustic Blues Thursdays at the Tranzac. Bassman
extraordinaire Victor Bateman will be joining me this Thursday (jan 3) and
I can hardly wait to see what he'll pull out of the hat for his feature set.

For the latter part of 2001, a small, discerning audience has been enjoying
top notch talent cutting loose in a casual, friendly, listening environment
and this month we have a lineup of bona fide Canadian blues stars - all
Maple Blues Award nominees and winners, to tie in with the Maple Blues
Awards ceremony which takes place January 29 at the Phoenix.
