     Hi Derek,

     Happy New Year, Could you send me your favourite Top-10 folk, roots or
     world music discs released in Canada in 2001 for a national survey I'm
     compiling for Penguin Eggs. Results will be published in Spring Issue,
     March 1. Also could you send me your three favourite new discoveries of
     last year. Could you list discs in the following manner: Artist, Title,
     Label. And could you give a brief, one sentence description of what you 
do
     in the folk, roots or world music community. All I ask is you don't 
list
     anyone you're professionally associated with.
