It's tempting to opine, from the wording of this message, that Roddy
Campbell wants Derek to do his job for him. This is probably not true. Maybe
Mr. Campbell simply wants Derek to do his listening for him. This is also
probably untrue. All that said, this is a posting that should cause the
readers of this list to wonder what the hell is going on.
This sort of request bewilders me, especially when posted on a public
forum. Derek Andrews is not "one of a huge pile of people you can quiz for a
survey". He's prominent in his profession and not likely to be found amongst
a group of even five equals in this country. So the "survey" aspect doesn't
compute.
Perhaps I'm quibbling but I don't think so.
By the way, I'm a fan of Penguin Eggs and visit the site on a regular
basis.
