INTRODUCTION

Hey Groovesters,

What a night! Our Feature Linda Saslove accompanied by her cousin David
Saslove on guitar. A flawless soul-touching performance. Not to mention all
the other amazing musicians we had out last Monday night. Thanks to all the
people who played and stayed til the end. A great way kick-off the New
Year!

I would also like to thank our Groovy Sponsors:

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments

Edward's Record World/CD Replay

PIZZA PIZZA

Rob Lamothe -

"songs of loss and love and confusion so achingly beautiful and so
confidently executed that you'll wonder why he hasn't achieved mainstream
fame. It's surely just a step away"

Greg Quill - The Toronto Star

I have to agree with Greg. I first heard Rob Lamothe's CD "Wishing Well
Motel" at this year's OCFF Conference. Rob is a singer-songwriter of
remarkable talent. I especially love the track "The River of My Life". His
warm voice and soulful songs make my heart smile. Don't miss your chance to
catch Rob live at Groovy Mondays on January 14th.
