ADDITIONS TO LINE-UP


Jenny Whiteley and Julian Taylor have been added to the strong group of
singer/songwriters performing at the Rivoli on Tuesday, January 22 for Bluebird
North.  Whiteley and Taylor join Arlene Bishop, Lennie Gallant, Bernie Schmidt,
D'Arcy Wickham and host Andy Stochansky on the bill.

Jenny Whiteley, coming from a very strong musical family tradition, received
individual recognition in the form of a Juno Award at last year's ceremony for
her self-titled solo debut album.  "As a songwriter, " explains Whiteley, "I
think of myself as a storyteller.  So I don't feel bound by personal
experience.  If I come up with an idea that makes me think, ' Yeah, that's a

Julian Taylor is lead singer and chief songwriter for the Toronto rock band,
Staggered Crossing.  "I can write anywhere at anytime, depending on my mood,"
says Taylor.  "I've written songs everywhere, from airports to a train that was
going from Chicago to Portland."  Staggered Crossing released their self-titled
debut album in February of last year.

Bluebird North #35 on Tuesday, January 22 at the Rivoli, 334 Queen Street West.
