Hello Mapleposters:

I'm working on my first CD. Being virtually unknown outside of Ottawa, I
want to represent myself well and get some notice among Presenters. I have
the opportunity to have a high quality video piece done on folk musician's
budget. The video would consist of a mixture of:

* Tony playing a piece live with a "virtual cafe" backdrop
* Tony playing and bantering with audience in a real venue (perhaps at the
CD launch event)
* Clips of Tony talking about himself
* Clips of others talking about Tony (nice things of course!)
* printable stuff like bio, pictures
* links to web page

A burn-as-you-need-to companion CD-R that runs on Windows Media Player or
other similar product would be sent out to Presenters along with the real
CD.

My question: Would Presenters welcome a promo-kit they can watch on their
computer rather than reading? Or am I wasting my folky money?

Any advice welcome.

Tony Turner (the unknown soldier)
