Hiya Peter, you know for me it still comes down to the music. As a radio
programer I need very little in the way of information. If you have
a bio, some quotes ( none from your parents ! ), and a well thought
out recording then you all all that matters. If you are a childrens performer
or visual artist then I have seen video's that give presenters an idea
of what to expect.

Lately, I have been visiting web sites and listening to 'artist selected'
recordings
as this give me a good idea where they fit. In the end it all come down to
the music, and if people have seen you perform then that's another important
leg up.

Keep it simple is still the best....and get out and play.
