Hiya Peter, just a little added note. CKUA is actually public & commercially
supported Alberta Radio. The station is 10 years older than CBC as we
celebrate 75 Years of amazing radio. We broadcast over 16 FM and 1 AM
Transmitter throughout the province of Alberta, borders of Saskatchewan,
British Columbia, and Northern Montana...oh yeh..and world domination
via da net.  http://ckua.com
I am proud of our programing, and everytime I'm away I miss the station
we are very lucky. Also on the station for over 25 years is Holger Peterson,
Terry David Mulligan with Mulligan Stew, Andy Donnely with an amazing
Celtic Show, and modest me with Folk Routes.....and I could go on..and on..
..and on............

In the province we also have two excellent Campus station's, in Edmonton
at the UofA is CJSR, and at the UofC is CJSW. With the stunning success
of the folk clubs, Folk Festivals, and concert venues we are the roots
province of Canada.
