Hi everyone,

NORM'S LIVING ROOM, a songwriter's open stage at the Silver Dollar Room, Toronto, is in full swing again at 7 PM on THURSDAYS, our new time and evening.  It's a songwriters' community slanteds toward folkie/rootsy/bluesy music, with an audience that includes many who drop by just to listen.  No cover, basket passed for the feature.

This week our feature spotlight will be on NOAH ZACHARIN, who has a fabulous CD released only days ago - "Crow Dark Wind," a mix of original songs and instrumentals. Norm Hacking does a short set each evening, and it's a good chance to catch up with his new CDs.

We have an EARLY start time at 7 pm now, if you come then:
- you'll get first choice of seating
- you'll get first choice of performance spot
- you can join in the 7-8 pm guitar finger-picking workshop/jam with Brian Gladstone
- you can have a great snack or dinner from Silver Dollar's generous varied menu, with some new items including lots of barbeque (my southern bias is showing)
- you can chat with (or make some) friends without interrupting their songs

And you're in it too by signing up to perform a couple of songs - bring CDs, announce gigs.  Or like me, come by to listen to some great music.  So bring a friend and spread the word.
