FOLK ROOTS/FOLK BRANCHES with Mike Regenstreif
Thursday mornings (9-11:30 eastern) on CKUT (90.3 FM) in Montreal
Folk Roots/Folk Branches is the only broadly-defined,
folk-oriented program on Montreal radio. The CKUT signal extends
throughout the Montreal area and into parts of northern New York, northern
Vermont and Eastern Ontario.
CKUT can also be heard worldwide in RealAudio from the Folk
Roots/Folk Branches web site.

Guest: Jack Nissenson
This program was dedicated to the memory of Wade Hemsworth. Wade,
a past guest on Folk Roots/Folk Branches, was the dean of Canada’s
folk-rooted songwriters. He died on Saturday at the age of 85.
