Yes, the Ark is a very fine folk venue indeed-- one of the top 5 in the U.S.
I'd say--- It's a big room, not that Ark-like, though they do have two of
every kind of animal in the audience.
Major acts get booked there that you'd never see in such an intimate
environment anywhere else...
it's also a very tough room to get booked into!
I'd certainly make the effort to get there!
