[mplpost] Goodbye Peter!

Hey troops,
Oh, Maplepost is the bearer of all kinds of news—I hadn’t heard about Peter
Gzowski’s death until now.  It has been, or was I guess, a quiet kind of
dream of mine to meet the man one day.  I was just sure I would, as a fan,
musician, and CBC junkie.  I was an enthusiastic Morningside listener from
the age of 18...he was entirely the reason that I began to 'get' that I was
part of an entire planet, at a time when most of my friends were mainly
ogling their Corey Hart Boy In The Box album jackets and watching CHiPs.  I
still get that wistful ‘oh I love being Canadian’ thing (like everyone else)
whenever I tune in to CBC, but I did miss him the moment he left
Morningside.

And, I never got to meet him...
