I don't think David is making guitars anymore but he is at the Twelfth Fret
(http://www.12fret.com) - as is Gordon Barry who makes spectacular guitars.
I have ordered a little beauty from Gord - I'll get it in May. Can't wait...
Good idea about gathering info on local guitar makers.
