[mplpost] Rap, It rhymes well

Perhaps of all the debates that exist within the framework of folkdum,
however well disguised, the debate over what is and what is not "folk
music" is the most useless waste of time that possibly exists. However
since in the past, I've been a sucker for punishment and have
participated in this debate regardless of my feelings of dred, I feel
its important, at least for the sake of clarity, to pass on what pearls
of wisdom I have managed to glean along the road. After great
consideration and after a great amount of debate nd study I have reached
the following conclusion. "Folk Music, folks, is folk music when Richard
Flohil and I say it is. Period.
