I blush to disclose I don't have a single Canadian
guitar in the bunch.
My very favorite is my late 80's Regal Resonator
guitar - her name is Annabelle and she has a really
lovely sound far superior to many I tried on my
search. (Nonie can attest to her tuneliness)
My first guitar was a 1969 Yamaha 150 purchased by me
new that year for my guitar lessons. I still own her,
she's a lovely acoustic with a narrow waist and a much
finer tone than later ones with the same name.
Whoops I lied -- I have a little Canadian classical
(from Quebec) but she's in storage in Ottawa and I
can't remember the make - I got tired of Air Canada
and Canadian damaging my guitars as I travelled back
and forth and I bought one in Toronto at Ring Music -
from Jason, to play when I worked back there on odd
months.
Given a fast lottery win I have a Laskin in mind --
I'm willing to wait :) but I just can't justify it
right now. So many guitars, so much still to do with
the ones I own.
