Haven't tried the Highlander but use the LR Baggs Dual Source (mic and piezo
combo).  It's quite nice!  I think they have a better one out now (I got
mine back in '99).  Check with Victor Farrell at the Acoustic Guitar Shop in
Calgary.  For Highlander picks ups, maybe give Michael Heiden a call
(ANOTHER incredible Canadian guitar builder who is specializing in mandolins
now).  He uses Highlanders.  He's in Chilliwack, BC.
