[mplpost] And now, pickups?

Hi all,
Art mentioned the Raven Labs preamp and I couldn't resist mentioning how
much I like it. I hate to gush but:
    It's a little red box built like a tank. It's called a PMB-1 which
stands for Professional Master Blender. It's got two channels. Channel one
is designed for a piezo or other pickup wich like to see high impedence. The
other channel is a lower impedence and is designed for mics complete with
phantom power. Both channels have three band eq. There's a tuner out, effect
send and return, and you can run it with two cords like I do or with one
stereo cord. Runs on batteries or plugged in. I'm a folkie so I can't say it
but my daughter would say that this box rocks!
They're available at the 12th fret and their URL is:

I think J. P. Cormier uses one too.
    Don
