My painful and expensive pickup adventures have led me to the path of
simplicity. As well as an old guitar with several extra holes in it...

Now I use a simple fishman matrix in my Morgan Dreadnought (speaking of
great Canadian Guitars). Sounds great. No fuss. cheap.
