[mplpost] Sunday Morning Word Scramble

Hey Jen,

It's about 3:00 pm in the Phillipines and I thought I'd drop you a line. 
It's been an adventure so far and, among other things, I've got a gig.

I'm getting paid 1000 pesos, which works out to about 30 bucks, to play an 
acoustic set Thursday night at a bar called Sonata. It's just for fun but 
when I auditioned for the gig it reminded me how much I enjoyed playing 
live, even though it's barely been a week since the C'est What show.

I also stumbled upon South East Asia's answer to Holy Joe's. There was this 
brilliant band that played there and I picked up their CD. You should take a 
listen to it when I get back, I think it's a great example of what world 
music is about.

Anyways, I hope you and Eric are doing well and I'll see you in a few weeks
